VBS

Registration opens on April 1 and is subject to close when spots are filled. Don’t wait too long—no matter if spots are closed or not, our registration closes the week before VBS so we can make sure we’ve got everything perfectly planned for an amazing, safe, and fun-filled experience! With hundreds of kids joining us, we need to close registration the week before in order to best prepare for the week! For any questions about registration, contact Clara at ccutbill@vmc.net.

Due to the type of programming that VBS is, all funds are used for the production of the week in advance. We apologize for any inconvenience, but since we use all of the funds we cannot provide refunds due to scheduling conflicts or simple change of mind. We hope you understand, and we can’t wait to see your child at VBS!

You do not need to register your child for VBS here if they are attending Ventura Missionary School's camp the week of VBS. You will drop off and pick up at the school according to their instructions and the school staff will bring the children down to VBS every day. All communication about VBS and that week will come from the school camp not from us. All VMS campers will get a VBS shirt and receive the same VBS experience as everyone else!

On the registration form, you will see a spot to make group requests! Here you can list anyone you would like your child to be with. We will try our best to accommodate at least one of the names you list of a child in the same grade. Due to the nature of VBS and the size of groups, we cannot accommodate a large list of group requests per child. VBS groups are done by grade so all group requests of children must be in the same grade as your child. No group requests of children in different grades will be accommodated. We will be unable to make group changes the week of VBS. If you do not list any request your child's group will be assigned at random.

If registration says it is closed on the website, it means our camper spots are filled or it is the week before VBS. In order to ensure a safe and fun VBS for everyone, we have a limit on the campers we can take determined by volunteer numbers and resources. We also need to close registration for VBS the week before so our team has time to get everything ready for the amazing week ahead.

You will register your child in their incoming grade that they will be entering into in Fall 2026. This will determine the grade they are put in for the week of VBS so if it is selected incorrectly on the registration form, they will be sorted into the wrong grade and we can not guarantee a change of group the week of VBS. 

Children must be 4 years old before the start of VBS. Unfortunately with the limited space/capacity, we will not be able to make any exceptions. If you register a child who is under 4 before the start of VBS, you will be issued a refund. If your child isn’t quite old enough this year, we can’t wait to have them join us next year!

We are unable to accommodate walk-up registrations for VBS, even though we would love for every child to attend! With hundreds of children attending and volunteers staffing the event, we spend the week before VBS preparing the activities and rotations for such a large group. Walk-up registrations put a strain on our volunteers, as they have no time to prepare for additional children. We kindly ask for your understanding and grace, and we ask that you refrain from requesting last-minute registrations or asking to take another child’s spot. Thank you for your support!
