Well-Crafted Lives Serving Kids & Students

We are blessed with so many people who are giving their time and using their gifts to bless the young people who come through our doors to learn about the transforming love of Jesus. The following are a few of those individuals. They were nominated as examples of people living well-crafted lives.

"Don Lackey has built a huge amount of things for Children's ministry: door frames with doors, a horse and a cow for VBS and Sunday morning KidZone, a covered wagon, a fruit stand, part of a club house for Early Childhood KidZone, and two different puppet stages. He has fixed cradles, dividers, and cabinet doors. He's painted dividers...just about anything he's asked to do. This only a sampling of all Don has done over the years to bless our kids and the ministry of VMC."

"Austin White started serving in Elementary KidZone as a freshman in High School. He wanted to lead a small group of 2nd graders and stay with them. all the way to High School, as another young man had done for him. Austin has faithfully worked with this same group of boys for three years now and is such a blessing in their lives. As a young man, he is already serving the Lord and living a well-crafted life."

"Steve Romero is a great man of faith. He is a prayerful guy who strives to live out his faith daily and share that with our young people. Steve is devoted not only to his own two young sons, but to sharing God's love with youth in Youth Group through worship, teaching, hiking, camping, missions work, and other service/fun opportunities. It's clearly evident that the youth love Steve and that he is making an impact on their lives/faith."
