Student Ministries Mexico Trip

What and incredible trip! I am so proud of every student and leader who said "yes" to God and joined this awesome team. When most other Middle School and High School students are sleeping in, binging on Netflix, and hanging out at the beach, 92 of our students and leaders spent their Spring Break working, loving, and serving! This was by far the largest team we have ever taken to Mexico, and we accomplished far more than we expected:

We spent time loving, playing with, and ministering to over 100 children at Door of Faith orphanage and the surrounding communities We fed hundreds of hungry children through the Breakfast club ministry; We fed dozens of hungry families through our dispensas ministry around the Alguien Se Ama Teen Center; We moved three tons of dirt to reinforce the retaining walls around the perimeter of the new Siloe Medical Clinic facility, along with waterproofing the wall, mixing and pouring cement, and clearing land; We served dozens of sick and disabled residents at El Refugio (including providing life-saving medical care); We helped with numerous facility projects at the Alguien Se Ama Teen Center; We prayed for dozens of people, families, and children; We saw God move in the hearts and lives of our team in powerful, life-changing ways! This is how one of our student described it: This trip was a life-changer for me. My life and my goals are clearer than ever! I was so blessed to be a part of this team, and so grateful for the work God did! Thank you for praying for us, and for helping to lead a church that lives and shares the transforming love of Jesus!
